Weekend dinner @ GoGung, Gardens Mid-Valley City

Weekends always pass by quickly without you even realise it...Before the 'Monday Blue' comes back again, we had a decent weekend dinner tonight. Bran suggested for a Steamboat dinner for the night, however, it was raining cats and dogs for the whole evening. So, we decided to head to Gardens for Korean Cuisine, a little excitement for spicy food again.

The entrance of Go-Gung is golden in colour which you would be able to caught an eye of the restaurant from far. As my sister bought her new camera the day before, I wanted to try out her new camera...Let's see how the pictures turn out with..

Entrance to Go-gung Restaurant

Traditional Cutleries for Korean Cuisine.. Flat chopsticks and long spoons..

For those who are interested with Korean BBQ.. this is the hot plate for roasting the meat..

6 different types of side dishes being served..
Since there's 4 of us, they serve us double plates for us.. and free refill if you would like to..

Korean Pancake with Vegetables (RM30 for normal price, but currently free for promotion)
I would have to say that i love this dish very much as the crust is very crispy and yet not oily..

Kim chi Jeon Gol - Kim chi Hot Pot with Chicken Slices and Glass Noodle (Small, RM75)
It is a spicy and sour soup with lots of vegetables and glass noodles in it..This portion stated as 'SMALL' but it turns out to be huge for the 4 of us. You could order this for 3 person with extra white rice.

Den Jang Jji Gae - Hot Pot with Vegetables in cubes with seafood (RM25)
If you can't take too much of spicy food..opt for a less spicy soup. This could be a light meal served with rice.

Our dinner's total bill came up to a total RM142 with 10% discount for first visit. The restaurant currently is running a promotion. Whereby, 1st visit, 10% off on the total bill, subsequent visit will be 20% off with vouchers (given on 1st visit). Although the varieties are not as much compared to Do Rae Restaurant in Hartamas, however, the dishes are worthwhile to try out with the promotion they're having at the moment. As far as I know, the promotion is only valid in March 2009. Overall, good ambience with good food.
